Russia’s Unipro IFRS net profit soars to 33.6 bln rbl in 2017

MOSCOW, Mar 7 (PRIME) -- The net profit attributable to shareholders of Russian power producer Unipro soared more than sixfold to 33.609 billion rubles in 2017, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Revenue contracted 2% on the year to 76.5 billion rubles, but the pretax profit went up almost sixfold to 40.97 billion rubles.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) jumped to 47.5 billion rubles in 2017 from 17.7 billion rubles in 2016.
